There are monsters that hide in the dark. At least I hope there are. Because the creepier, crawlier, ghoulier, bloodier, and scarier they are, the more they inspire me.

So for about as long as I can remember, I’ve been finding creative ways to bring these creatures to life. Sometimes through the conventional methods of life-casting, sculpting and casting in latex, foam and silicone. And sometimes with a spur-of-the-moment trip to the hardware store or thrift store. As long as you can visualize it, you can build it.

My creations have found life in dark alleyways, online contests, TV commercials, short films, movie premiers and, of course, every Halloween night. The pages that follow offer a few examples of the monsters in my head ... that found their way out.
